Error Code: 0x0003” in a dialog box which only consists of a close option in it. This error is showed up in the Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10 systems.

As the result we have found out that there is not a specific reason behind this error, the reason can be different for a different user. We have mentioned them below.

What is Causing The NVIDIA Experience Error Code 0x0003?

Nvidia Telemetry container is not permitted to interact with desktop– One of the major causes of this error to occur is that the Nvidia Telemetry Container is not allowed to interact with the desktop. But, this can be easily resolved by allowing the interaction with the help of the Services screen.

Some important Nvidia Services are not running–Nvidia Local System Container, Nvidia Display Service, and Nvidia Network Service Container that must be enabled or else this issue is going to occur in your system.

Corrupted Nvidia driver– This issue can also occur if some drivers used by the GPU of your system are corrupted.

Glitched Network adapter– This error is also noticed when you’re the Network adapters of your system get stuck.

Windows update interfered with your GPU driver– It is also reported that this error can also show up after the Windows Update. But, this can be solved by reinstalling the Nvidia drivers.

How to Fix Geforce Experience Error Code 0x0003?

Here are your solutions.

Method 1: Allowing The Nvidia Telemetry Container To Interact With Desktop

According to many of our users, they were able to solve this error code 0x0003 with the help of the Service screen to ensure that the Nvidia Telemetry container is allowed to interact with the desktop and by making sure that the service is started.

After doing this process, the error in Nvidia Experience, unlike before, stopped occurring for many of them. For allowing the Nvidia Telemetry container to interact with the desktop, you have to follow the steps mentioned below.

Step 1: Press Windows key + R simultaneously to open the Run dialog box.

Step 2: Type services.msc inside the Run dialog box and press Enter key.

Step 3: The Services window will open up, if prompted, click Yes to grant the permission for administrative privileges to UAC.

Step 4: In the Services screen list, look out for Nvidia Telemetry Container, right-click on it and select Properties from the list of options.

Step 5: Once the Properties window of Nvidia Telemetry Container opens, go to the Log On tab and ensure that the checkbox next to the Allow service to interact with desktop is checked. Click on Apply to save the new changes made.

Step 6: Now, return to the Services screen once again, and look out for the below mentioned services.

Nvidia Display Service

Nvidia Local System Container

Nvidia Network Service Container

Right-click on them and select Start from the list of menu appeared on the right side.

Step 7: After every service is enabled, try to run the operation which was showing the error code 0x0003 before and check if the issue is resolved or not.

Method 2: Reinstalling Every Nvidia Component

Several users also reported that the issue gets automatically solved when they uninstall and then reinstalled the GeForce Experience including every Nvidia driver.

After performing this process and then restarting the system, Geforce Experience Error Code 0x0003 stopped occurring from them. Follow these steps to reinstall every Nvidia Component to resolve this issue.

Step 1: Press Windows key + R simultaneously to open the Run dialog box.

Step 2: Type appwiz.cpl inside the Run dialog box and press Enter key.

Step 3: Once the Programs and Features screen opens, click on Publisher to order every installed application by the order of their publisher.

Step 4: Now, go to the applications which are published by Nvidia Corporation and right-click on them one by one and select Uninstall from the list of menu appeared on the right side.

Step 5: Repeat step 4 unless every Nvidia application that was installed is not uninstalled.

Step 6: Reboot your system now, and wait for the system to open again.

Step 7: Now, visit the link https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/geforce-experience/ and click on the Download Now button. Follow the on-screen prompts to download.

Step 8: Once this software is downloaded and installed, the missing drivers will get installed automatically.

Step 9: When all the new drivers are installed, restart your system and check if the error is resolved or not.

If the error is still occurring, switch to the next method of resetting the Network Adapters.

Method 3: Resetting The Network Adapter

As claimed by some of our users, the Geforce Experience Error Code 0x0003 error can also be resolved by resetting the network adapter’s software to its default configuration.

This process of resetting the network adapters is also known as Winsock reset or comms reinstall. Follow the below-mentioned steps to reset the Network adapters.

Step 1: Press Windows key + R simultaneously to open the Run dialog box.

Step 2: Type cmd inside the Run dialog box and press Ctrl + Shift + Enter key,

Step 3: This will open the elevated Command prompt, if prompted, click Yes to grant the permission for administrative privileges to UAC.

Step 4: Once the elevated Command Prompt opens, type Netsh winsock reset and hit Enter key to reset the network adapter driver.

Step 5: After the command is successfully processed, reboot your computer and check if the error is resolved or not.

Note: This process applies to Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 10.

Method 4: Installing The Latest Graphics Driver Manually

If all the above mentioned methods didn’t help you with this issue, then the chances are that this error is due to the corrupted GPU driver that can be resolved only by uninstalling and then reinstalling the graphics driver manually.

Many of our users have claimed that this issue is solved by this method for them. Follow the steps mentioned below to install the latest graphics driver manually.

Step 1: Press Windows key + R simultaneously to open the Run dialog box.

Step 2: Type appwiz.cpl inside the Run dialog box and press Enter key.

Step 3: Once the Programs and Features screen opens, click on Publisher to order every installed application by the order of their publisher.

Step 4: Now, go to the drivers which are published by Nvidia Corporation and right-click on them one by one and select Uninstall from the list of menu appeared on the right side.

Step 5: Repeat step 4 unless every Nvidia driver that is associated with the GPU of your system is not uninstalled. If prompted, click Yes to grant permission to remove the drivers.

Step 6: Once all the products related to Nvidia are uninstalled, restart your system.

Step 7: When the system opens again, visit the link https://www.nvidia.com/Download/index.aspx?lang=en-us and set up your GPU model, operating system version, series, and language. Then, click on the Search option to get the latest version of the driver available for your GPU configuration.

Step 8: Once the download is completed, install the downloaded drivers as per the on-screen prompts.

Check if the error is resolved or not. If not, go ahead and try the last method which will surely help you.

Method 5: Creating a New User Account

If all the above-mentioned solutions failed for you, this method will surely work for you. In this method, after deleting all the applications and drivers related to Nvidia, create a new user account, including the administrator privileges. Install the drivers again to check if the issue is resolved or not.
